Here we are on the brink of a new year and at the very end of an old one. This is the time to reflect on everything we accomplished this past year and on all the things we aspire for the new one. Life is made of these battles. Such battles are fought by us every day in hope that someday we will conquer the world through them. It's a very easy time to look into our lives through a magnifying glass and realize how little we've accomplished.

This is not a correct way to perceive things, in fact, this is the erroneous way to perceive things. We as a person, as a humble person -might I add- must look to the things we still have to fulfill in our lives, be it love, career, health or personal wise. Such deed is no simplistic matter for it requires a great mental strength to analyze our lives objectively. The important thing is not to lose focus of what we want, anyone wants something for themselves or others, sometimes we consider them illusions or delusions but they are nothing of the sort.

Imagination gives us endless possibilities to the world out there. We must not in any way stop wanting more for ourselves, no matter how arrogant or narcissistic it looks. Don't set for a less and ordinary life, prove to yourselves your true worth. You only need to prove yourselves... To yourselves. Don't give in to apathy or numbness, don't give up like everyone else.

The world is growing cynical, people are detaching, they're becoming mechanized, cold and distant. This is not the world I came in to and it shouldn't be the world for others to come in as well. Society is falling apart and we're the ones causing it. We are losing our dreams and expectations and we're giving in to this hive, this soulless drone existence that's making comfortable with every little thing we can get.

Look into yourselves and ponder if this is the kind of person you wish to be. look to all you've lost and look at the time you have to get it all back. Don't fall asleep, don't give up. Be strong, prove yourself, don't cave in, be your own man/ woman.
